Eating here felt like in home! Everyone was so lovely and we talked to locals who told us a bit of a history of a city and this particular restaurant which is family business. Food was very tasty and traditional!

Amazing seefood. Had octopus, carpaccio de gambas, and cod fish totally worth it. They only speak Spanish. But food has no language. 💛

A traditional restaurant, in the back streets, above the fancy restaurants at the marina. It does a great job - booking advised. We'e eaten here 5 or 6 times and have never been disappointed. Oct 23 edit. Still as good as ever. Fully booked the night (12th, Spanish National Day) we visited.

We went to this wonderful place on Sunday and it was packed. We were very lucky to get seated and I must say it was excellent value for money and the food was superb. We had steamed mussels to start and they were cooked to perfection. As you can see from the photos the Taverneta do not scrimp on the portions. We both had a fish dish which although had a lot of bones (not the restaurants fault) it was very tasty. I had a delicious whisky cake for dessert and my boyfriend had the flan. I have to honestly say that so far the starter and the dessert are by far the best I have tasted so far here in Catalunya. This place is awsome, the food is fresh and cooked the perfect way. The servise is amazing and the ambient is chill and a bit rock n roll. Very good price too. This place is a must visit when you come to town!
